Fischer Evans has something for everyone this holiday season

Women across the board always appreciate something that sparkles and shines waiting for them under the Christmas tree, and the longtime jewelers and retail team at Fischer Evans have something to fit any taste and any budget.

"Fischer Evans remains the one-stop shop for jewelry, bridal registry and gifts," said Nicole Lampru with Fischer Evans. "Nonetheless, we recognize Chattanooga's growth and identify a new, vibrant crowd within our community."

She went on to share that in addition to satisfying its regular customers' demands and maintaining its outstanding level of service, the store is taking a new direction to capture the attention of new community members and introduce them to the Fischer Evans world and all that it entails. The goal is to take away any intimidating idea of the past and help women across the area understand that the store truly does carry things for everyone at varied price points.

"From engagement rings and wedding bands to home décor accents and design consultations, we are determined to remain part of Chattanoogans' homes and celebrate tradition while also maintaining the iconic reputation that has made us the premier jewelry and gift store for the past 147 years," Lampru said.

Trends Fischer Evans is showcasing this holiday season follow an innovative and eclectic style. Lampru shared that blends of objects, textures and styles come together to create interesting hybrid jewels that alternate between fashion and high-end jewelry.

"Pearls, for example, are seen emerging from their cocoon of traditionalism and are revisited as cuffs, or mixed necklaces with uncommon stones such black diamonds and hematite," she explained. "They can also be part of minimalist or virtual designs. These takes on otherwise-conventional jewelry express a new generation of tendencies that turn to the 'vintage look.'"

Raw stones are another trend this season that are classic and stand the test of time.

When it comes to engagement rings, Fischer Evans offers great pieces with tips to help men make a solid selection for their ladies.

"Women probably do not want the ring they will be wearing forever to fall under the 'trendy' category, yet they certainly want to consider something timeless and unique for the left hand," Lampru shared.

Fortunately, there are many options to fall in love with today that promise the same effect 20 years from now. From vintage-inspired to mixed metals, the scoop on what's hot comprises pieces on halo settings, fancy cuts and even colored stones, mixed metals and floral patterns.

"A huge trend today, brides-to-be are choosing tradition with a twist by falling for emerald, cushion, oval and pear shapes center stones on simpler and delicate mountings," Lampru said.Statement necklaces and rings, such as those by Konstantino, also feature unusual designs that combine stones, metals and other techniques in jewelry to create striking pieces to steal the spotlight at your next holiday bash.

Customizing your piece also plays in a big role in the look you are trying to achieve, according to Lampru.

"Depending on the occasion, we tend to choose different jewelry pieces, and current trends are an invitation to dress an outfit up or down," she explained. "A focus on a transitional piece is key, making it comfortable for us women to go from day to night events and still look amazing and feel good about the way we look."

There are always gorgeous pieces that compliment any outfit and survive the test of time, such as "diamonds by the inch," pearl strings and studs, and gold cuffs and chains, all of which can be found on-site at Fischer Evans.

Fischer Evans remains unique not only in its selection of jewelry, but also in the staff's knowledge of the market and ability to guide customers in the process of combining trendy items with pieces of great value that will transcend the test of time.

"Our knowledge is virtually unrivaled," Lampru said. "We have three gemologists in our store and our breadth of product truly makes us a one-stop shop, which has earned us the role in the community that we have."

Even Fischer Evans' china and home décor accents boast a level of Southern cultural sophistication that is unmatched.

"It embodies what the Southern home is all about and shows that while good taste doesn't have a price tag, we can also accommodate almost any budget," Lampru said.

The store recently earned the Better Business Bureau's Torch Award for Ethics as well.

"Our staff goes the extra mile to satisfy and meet our customers' needs," she said.

When asked to describe Fischer Evans in one word, Lampru responded "celebration."

"At Fischer Evans, we celebrate stylish traditions, the community of Chattanooga and all that is offers," she said.

The store is also taking its new initiative to social media via Facebook and Instagram, through which it plans to announce pop-up events for an exclusive new line of watches for Southern gents.

"We've also launched a gift guide preview that showcases a few images put together to help ladies start thinking about what they want for Christmas," Lampru added.

The store's showroom is also open every Saturday now through Christmas from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. to help accommodate shoppers' schedules.
