Heart failure class

Free educational class for patients with congestive heart failure, today and Tuesday, 10:30-11 a.m. at Chattanooga Heart Institute, second floor. Call 495-7764 for more information.

Freedom from smoking

A free eight-week class to support you in your desire to break your smoking habit. Lunch included. Memorial Hospital's Center for Cancer Support. Call 495-7778 to register.

Low impact exercise

Attend a free low-impact exercise class on Friday, Monday and Wednesday from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at Northgate Mall. An exercise physiologist from Siskin Therapy Services with Erlanger will lead the class. No registration necessary. Call Erlanger's HealthLink at 778-5465 for information.

Memory screening

On Tuesday, from 8:30-11 a.m. at Erlanger North Campus Annex, Suite 200. Jennifer Hindmon, R.N., of Erlanger North Senior's Unit, will administer the Mini Mental Status Exam to determine if there are problems that should be discussed with your family physician. Appointments are limited and pre-registration required. Register at 778-5465.

Diabetes education

On Thursdays and Mondays from 1:30-4:30 p.m. at Chattanooga Lifestyle Center. This class will explore ways to manage diabetes. Call 778-9400 for more information.
