HOSPICE OF CHATTANOOGA
- Tuck-In Callers: Make telephone calls once a week to patients/families to ensure they have necessary supplies, medications and support for the weekend. Volunteers are given script to follow for calls. 892-4289, ext. 23855.
HOUSTON MUSEUM OF DECORATIVE ARTS
Docents: Train to give tours of the museum, flexible scheduling Thursday-Sunday, noon-4 p.m.
Gift Shop: Work in gift shop selling, wrapping and doing light dusting. 267-7176.
PARTNERSHIP FOR FAMILIES, CHILDREN AND ADULTS
Dogwood Shop: Individual with retail experience or who enjoys meeting people needed to staff shop.
Extreme Couponers: Help Partnership programs obtain food, household supplies and toiletries economically by clipping coupons. 697-3830.
Kitchen Manager: Keep shelter kitchen and pantry stocked and clean; coordinate food donations and prepare up to two nutritional meals per week.
Shopping Helpers: Responsible person with a car needed to help homebound clients by shopping for their food and household items.
SALVATION ARMY
Donation Drive Assistant: Collect food, clothing, baby items for families in need.
Family Thrift Store Assistant: Help sort donations at thrift stores.
Homeless Shelter: Assist clients in the program with shelter upkeep and outreach programs.
Social Service: Assist caseworkers with client interviews, data entry, food pantry management.
Disaster Response: Assist Salvation Army personnel with emergency food service, shelter management; free training provided.
UNITED WAY VOLUNTEER CENTER

Alzheimer's Association: Data-entry volunteers needed four to six hours a month, and an office assistant to answer phones, help with mailings and filing.
Chattanooga Community Kitchen: Sort and hang clothes, test equipment for thrift shop; help with general cleaning, sanitizing.
Children's Home/Chambliss Shelter: Teach music lessons to teenage males who have either no music education or minimal knowledge of instruments; time commitment of once a week at least.
Epilepsy Foundation of Southeast Tennessee: Event staff needed for April fundraiser, Chocolate Fling; silent- auction committee members.
Northside Neighborhood House: Research and price vintage items/collectibles donated to thrift store; four hours a week.
Ringgold United Methodist Church: Individuals and groups still needed to assist with tornado cleanup. Plumbers and electricians especially needed. 706-935-2109 or 706-935-2199.
Signal Centers: Assist marketing and development office with special events, flexible scheduling Monday-Saturday.
St. Barnabas Senior Living Services: Share your talent by singing and performing for residents at the assisted living and nursing home campuses.
