Imagine Chattanooga meetings announced

A group of 50 community leaders, government officials, business leaders, nonprofit officers, foundation directors, and artists are seeking to engage community members in a cultural planning process.

Imagine Chattanooga 20/20 is a planning process in which participants will discuss "What can creativity, arts and culture do for our community?" and create an action plan.

The groundwork for the initiative was laid last year when WolfBrown, a Massachusetts-based consulting firm, was retained.

The next phase is to engage area residents in a dialogue through forums on Facebook or in one of seven neighborhood gatherings that will begin Monday. The meetings will be facilitated by Marc Goldring of WolfBrown.

The public is invited to attend these free meetings.
