Sequoyah Caverns & Ellis Homestead in DeKalb County, Ala., will offer free tours inside the caverns for "Winter of Glory," a live Nativity production.

According to owner Roy Jones, groups of 100 to 130 are guided to the area known as the Ballroom, where the scene unfolds around them.

"It's not like you're looking at a stage," he says. "The play is happening all around."

The production will be offered at 7, 7:45 and 8:30 p.m. Friday through Sunday, Dec. 21-23, and at 7 and 7:45 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24 (all times Central).

Jones says this is the 10th year for the production. "It's the same story," he says, "but it gets changed up a little every year."

Sequoyah Caverns & Ellis Homestead are at 1438 County Road 731 in Valley Head. To reach the site, take Exit 239 off I-59 to U.S. Highway 11 South. Go 3 miles to County Road 731. Turn right onto 731 and go 1 mile to the entrance.
