Mount Pisgah hires Kirby

Michael Kirby, a native of Lebanon, Tenn., has been selected as pastor of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, 66 Westbrook Road, in Ringgold, Ga.

A minister for 15 years, he comes to the congregation, which averages 200 in Sunday morning worship attendance, from Corinth Baptist Church in Gainesville, Ga.

Kirby earned a bachelor of arts in biblical studies and theology from Union University and a master of divinity in church ministry.

He and his wife, Heather, have two children, Cameron, 4, and Sarah, 2.
