Good Deed

Good Deed helps convey thanks

I was hit by a drunken driver while driving on Georgia 2A, resulting in serious injuries. I don't recall much after the accident except the kindness of a young guy who positioned me where I could breathe and kept me calm until the paramedics arrived. I only remembered his name was Chase and he was from nearby Cleveland. The paramedics later told my dad that his efforts probably kept me from going into shock or worse.

I wanted to talk to Chase and thank him for his kindness. I submitted a "Good Deed" hoping to reach him. Well, he read my story! We met, and I thanked him for taking time to help someone in a crisis situation.

Thank you, Chase, for being a good Samaritan and now a friend; and, thank you, Times Free Press, for providing this service for your readers to point out good deeds done in the area.
