Lecture on presidential election at Lee University

Lee University's Department of History, Political Science and Humanities will welcome Dr. James Ceaser on Friday, Nov. 16, to give a lecture titled, "Revisiting the Presidential Election."

Ceaser's talk will be a retrospective of the presidential election, particularly in light of America's philosophic commitment to liberalism.

Ceaser serves as professor of politics at the University of Virginia, where he has taught since 1976. He has written several books on American politics and political thought, including "Presidential Selection," "Liberal Democracy and Political Science," "Reconstructing America" and "Nature and History in American Political Development."

The lecture will take place at 5:30 p.m. in the Johnson Lecture Hall in the Humanities Center, 1250 Parker St., NE, on the Cleveland, Tenn., campus.

A question-and-answer session will follow. Refreshments will be provided.
