• FILM SCREENING Chattanooga Film Society and Mise en Scenesters present "Reportero," about the dangers of reporting on the Mexican drug trade, in POV documentary film series at 6:30 p.m. today at the Downtown YMCA, 301 W. Sixth St. Free admission.

• SEPTEMBER SURPRISE This month's Southside Casual Classics concert is a youth showcase, featuring clarinetists Gretchen Hanna, eighth-grader at Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences, and Kelcy Brenner, a freshman at Ooltewah High School.
