The ninth annual Gathering of Southern Sherlockians is set for Saturday and Sunday, April 6-7, at the Sheraton Read House, 827 Broad St.
This year's theme is "The Untold Tales From the Battered Dispatch Box," focusing on the detective's unpublished tales.
The event will include discussions, a banquet and ball as well as costume, trivia and limerick contests.
Attendees will include club members from Atlanta's Confederates of Wisteria Lodge, Birmingham's Genius Loci, Greenville, S.C.'s Survivors of the Gloria Scott and Nashville's Scholars of the Three-Pipe Problem and Fresh Rashers.
Among the presenters are Dr. Marilynne McKay, Stephanie Osborn, Kenneth Carr, Dr. Marino Alvarez, Derek Martin, Loraine Reibert, Rachel Lundberg and David Milner.
Registration is $50. The banquet and program are $45.
