Uptown Big Band concert features jazz vocalist Annie Sellick

Annie Sellick, who has drawn praise as one of Nashville's finest jazz singers, will be in concert with Chattanooga's Uptown Big Band at 7 p.m. today at the Mountain Arts Community Center, 809 Kentucky Ave., on Signal Mountain. Directed by Dan Dorrill, the Uptown Big Band plays standards of Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsey, as well as modern bigband arrangements and show tunes.
