LISA DENTON: Barry, I got all excited about the annual blessing of the bikes coming up Saturday at the Tennessee Riverpark. Then I discovered it was the Choo Choo Wheels of Worship chapter of the Christian Motorcyclists Association. You reckon they'd lay hands on my Schwinn?

BARRY COURTER: I bet if you pedaled it on over there, they'd bless your saddle (that's the fancy word for a bike seat) just the same.

It's actually pretty neat they do this. With the weather warming up, we will see more bikers on the road and, hopefully, car and truck drivers will see them, too, and give them lots of space and respect.

And while we are talking motorcycles, Thunder Creek Harley-Davidson is sponsoring an Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday. It's just one of many such events this weekend.

LISA: At Thunder Creek, kids can pose with Road King Roger Rabbit -- an Easter Bunny dressed in Harley-style leather and chains. That's a twist on tradition.

Stuart Heights Baptist Church will be back at Coolidge Park on Sunday with 100,000 eggs to hunt. And there's another event Friday at the Hamilton YMCA called Hunt to Can Hunger that will have 12,000 eggs. Participants are asked to bring nonperishables to reach a goal of 1,200 pounds of food collected.

BARRY: OK, at first I thought the idea of boiling up 12,000 eggs for an event to fight hunger seemed counterproductive, so I called the Y. They are plastic eggs. Duh.

LISA: My favorite event, though, may be the Glow in the Dark Egg Hunt at Fort Mountain State Park in Chatsworth, Ga. It starts Saturday at 8:30 p.m. It's good Easter is happening before the lightning bugs come out. Otherwise, I'd be out there chasing moving targets and wind up lost in the woods.

BARRY: I could probably find a glow-in-the-dark egg. That's a good idea. I remember one time growing up, our dog thought the hide-and-seek game was meant for him. Turns out he didn't like eggs, but he didn't figure that out until he had found and bitten into about a dozen. What a mess.

LISA: My mom made the mistake one year of hiding camouflage eggs for the grandkids to hunt. She's still finding eggs in the yard.
