THINGS I WISH MY KIDS WOULD ASK ME

Q: Dad, I'm planning a pretty lengthy road trip with a friend this weekend, so what should I know?
A: Have fun, be careful and spend some time before you leave looking at maps so you have a clue ahead of time where you are headed and what landmarks to be looking out for. Know, for example, that you should hit Monteagle in about an hour and Nashville in about two and a half. If you hit Atlanta in 90 minutes, you are headed the wrong way. Fill up the tank at around a quarter tank and stay away from the big trucks. And, Go Irish.
