Angie Smith, a piano instructor for 20 years, was named Teacher of the Year. She received her undergraduate degree from Carson Newman College and a master's degree from Golden Gate Seminary. Before moving to Chattanooga, she was on the staff at Golden Gate Seminary and California Baptist University. She currently teaches music at Ridgedale Baptist School of Fine Arts.
