Davis Reeves of Soddy-Daisy is one of 220 children, teens and adults with Down syndrome who will be featured today in the National Down Syndrome Society's annual Times Square video presentation in New York City.

The photo of Davis was selected from over 2,000 entries in the society's worldwide call for photos. The featured photographs highlight children, teens and adults with Down syndrome working, playing and learning alongside friends and family. Davis is pictured with his baby brother, Thomas.

"I was filled with pride and joy to discover that a picture of my babies was selected to represent the NDSS values of inclusion and acceptance and to be shared worldwide from Times Square," says Davis' mom, Kari Reeves. "As parents, we all strive for our kids to be happy and accepted by others, whether our children have Down syndrome, have other diagnoses, or are typically developing. We are in this together to create a better present and a better future for our children."

The Times Square Video presentation kicks off Down Syndrome Awareness Month in October. The video presentation will be followed by the 20th annual Flagship Buddy Walk in New York City.
