Lee University alumnus Beckham advances to 'Idol' final four

Clark Beckham, the Lee University alumnus from White House, Tenn., moved one step closer to the title of "American Idol"Wednesday night when he advanced into "Idol's" final four.
Beckham was the first finalist to sing, opening the night's competition with Stevie Wonder's "Living For the City."
The five singers who advanced last week were treated to a VIP Nashville tour by music mogul Scott Borchetta last Thursday. The contestants were given a tour of Borchetta's Big Machine Label Group, met with the label team who will work with the Season 14 winner, visited Bluebird Cafe and other Nashville landmarks. Celebrity mentors were country superstar Martina McBride, who advised the girls, and Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts, who worked with the three remaining male contestants.
The final two competitors will sing Tuesday, May 12. The winner will be crowned May 13.
