Looking for the lights of Christmas

Thanksgiving is done, so they'll be popping up soon, coming to neighborhoods near you, perhaps even coming to your own house.

Yep, 'tis the season for outdoor Christmas decorations.

Some will be subdued, low-key, restrained - we're not interested in those.

We want to know about the big boomers; the houses that are lit up more than Broadway on Saturday night, that rival the airport for the number of lights. Maybe it's someone in your neighborhood - heck, maybe it's your whole neighborhood or maybe it's you.

Let us know which homes have caught your eye in years past - please make sure the person is going to decorate again this year, of course. Send a photo of the home (a quick snap on your cellphone is fine) and the address to Features Editor Shawn Ryan at sryan@times freepress.com; if you know the homeowner's name and phone number, that would help, too.

We'll run a list of the homes - with photos - on Sunday, Dec. 13, giving you plenty of time to head out there and check them out yourself.
