Three Chattanooga restaurants get perfect health scores

In a good sign for restaurant cleanliness, three Chattanooga restaurants received perfect scores on their latest health inspection.

Two of the restaurants are on Hixson Pike, and one is at Hamilton Place.

Five Guys Burgers and Fries on Hixson Pike got a 100, as did Lupi's Pizza. Happy Cakes also got a perfect 100.

Other top scorers included the Wednesday on Cummings Highway, the Subway on Hamilton Place Boulevard and the KFC/Long John Silvers on Highway 58, all of which scored 99.

The lowest score went to Community Pie on Market street, which scored a still-respectable 84 on its inspection.

A failing grade is anything less than 70, though many restaurants with failing scores attempt to fix the issues and get re-inspected quickly.
