* What: The Chattanooga Music Club held its annual patriotic community concert in Memorial Auditorium with a program featuring guest organist Richard Conte of Philadelphia, Pa.

* Benefits: Although the concert was free, donations were accepted for the Music Club's ongoing maintenance of the historic 1924 Austin pipe organ, which members restored 10 years ago. The club received donations totaling $4,000 from concertgoers.
