The American Lung Association in Tennessee will honor four Cleveland, Tenn., residents as Women of Distinction during a luncheon on Thursday, Sept. 8, at the Museum Center at Five Points, 200 Inman St. in Cleveland.
The 2016 honorees are Tara W. Brown, Janey P. Cooke, Christy Griffith and Sandra Rowland. They will be presented at the luncheon by Athens, Tenn., Mayor Ann Scott Davis, who is the Lung Association's 2016 Tennessee Woman of Distinction, and Sissy Figlestahler, event chairwoman.
Registration will begin at 11:15 a.m. The luncheon will begin at 11:45 a.m., with the awards presentation starting shortly afterward.
