Lee University's Jordan Smith bringing summer tour to Tivoli in June

Chattanooga is one of 12 cities selected for Jordan Smith's first headlining tour.

Smith, the Lee University student who won Season 9 of "The Voice," kicks off his "Something Beautiful Tour" on May 31 in San Francisco. Smith will perform in Chattanooga at The Tivoli on June 18 and in Knoxville at The Bijou on June 19.

Smith is touring in support of his debut album, "Something Beautiful," (LightWorkers/Republic Records), which bowed at No. 2 on the Billboard Top 200 and earned the highest ranking on the chart by any winner of a television singing competition in almost five years.

Most recently, Smith performed his single, "Stand In The Light," at Radio Disney Music Awards joined by Grammy- and Oscar-nominated producer Stephan Moccio (The Weeknd, Miley Cyrus). He'll perform the national anthem at this weekend's Kentucky Derby as well as serve as grand marshal of The Pegasus Parade.
