Aaron Carter will headline the 10th annual Running of the Chihuahuas at First Tennessee Pavilion on Saturday, May 6, but he won't be alone onstage.

Joining the musical part of the lineup will be AJR, Maggie Lindemann, Daniel Skye and Symon. The annual Cinco de Mayo celebration is presented by radio station WDOD-FM Hits 96 and includes live music, food and Chihuahua races.

"This year's schedule features our tradition of a great lineup of stars, both established and rising," says event organizer and on-air personality Brad Steiner.

"But the real stars are our amazing little Chihuahuas who year after year run their little legs out to cross the finish line and grab glory."

Steiner says that there will also be prizes for both the four-legged athletes and spectators, including a trip for the winner.

AJR features brothers Adam, Jack and Ryan Met. Their song "Weak" is currently garnering quite a bit of attention.

Lindemann's "Pretty Girl" has been a breakthrough song for her on Hits 96, according to Steiner.

Skye has become an internet sensation with more than 50 million views on his YouTube channel.

Symon is another newcomer who is drawing fan attention to her music and her girls-need-to-take-charge attitude.

Registration is open and available at www.hits96.com on a first-come, first-served basis. Spectators and press are encouraged to participate, for free, starting at 1 p.m. at First Tennessee Pavilion. Music begins at 2 p.m. and racing begins, tentatively, at 5 p.m.
