Help pick the Best Biscuit Sandwich in Tennessee

Got a favorite biscuit in town? Here's your chance to get it some national publicity.

As part of its Travel coverage, USA Today is holding a contest to pick the Best Biscuit Sandwich in Tennessee. A group that included representatives from The Food Channel, 10Best Travel Guides, Sandwich America and, as USA Today says, "local Tennessee food writers" (although none were from Chattanooga) nominated 20 of their favorite places.

Now it's the public's turn.

In Chattanooga, the nominees are Bluegrass Grill, The Camp House, The Flying Squirrel, Maple Street Biscuit Co., Mean Mug Coffeehouse, Milk and Honey, Niedlov's Breadworks and The Social.

Nashville also received eight nominations while Memphis and Knoxville got two each.

As of Wednesday, Feb. 1, Bluegrass Grill is No. 1 in voting, Maple Street Biscuit Company is No. 2 and Milk & Honey is No. 3

The other Chattanooga restaurants rank out as Mean Mug Coffeehouse (No. 7), The Camp House (No. 13), Flying Squirrel (No. 15), Neidlov's (No. 16) and the Social (No. 18).

To vote, go to www.10best.com/awards/travel/best-biscuit-sandwich-in-tennessee. Voting runs through noon on Monday, Feb. 27, and you can vote once a day.
