Dave Chappelle returning to Chattanooga's Tivoli Theatre

Tickets for comedian Dave Chappelle's Feb. 4 show at the Tivoli Theatre will go on sale Jan. 13 at 10 a.m.

Chappelle, who starred in such movies as "The Nutty Professor" and hosted his own comedy-variety show, last performed here in 2014. For this show, it is worth noting that cell phones will not be allowed in the theater. Patrons are asked to "leave your phones in your cars or at home. Anyone who brings a cell phone will be required to place it in a lockable pouch. Everyone is subject to a pat down. Anyone caught with a cell phone inside the venue will be immediately ejected," according to the news release announcing the show.
