Though it didn't completely fail its health inspection, the Krystal on LaFayette Road got the lowest score of the week - a 74 - after employees ate food on the grill food service line, stored raw eggs above ready-to-eat-foods, and left hot dogs sitting out at room temperature.
The Choo Choo BBQ on Quintas Loop received only a slightly higher score - a 75 - because the inspector didn't see employees washing their hands, and in fact noticed that the hand sink had no towels. The inspector also found a water leak in a fridge that was described as "dirty."
The Bourbon Grill on Hamilton Place Boulevard also received a 75 because its cooler wasn't cold enough to safely store food according to regulations. The inspector also found raw eggs stored above cabbage, and saw food that was not properly covered and protected.
While no restaurants received perfect scores this week, the highest score went to Dish to Pass on 302 6th street. Dish to Pass received a 99 on its health inspections.
