Experience: Served as executive director of Outdoor Chattanooga, head of the city Parks and Recreation Department, executive director of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and also owned and operated a regional grocery store chain for almost 30 years

Education: Bachelor's degree from Georgia Institute of Technology

Key issues: Economic development; youth; public safety

How he is different than the current mayor: Wants curbside recycling weekly; against a centralized homeless complex; brings business experience; thinks city should not take over funding for library.
