The man shot by his ex-wife on Signal Mountain last week came to court this morning in a wheelchair.
Testifying through tears, Dr. Terrance "Terry" Loher pleaded with a judge not to allow her to make bail.
Dr. Loher said he was afraid that his ex-wife, Tina Loher, would "finish the job" if she got out of jail. Judge Ronald Durby increased Ms. Loher's bond to $600,000 and bound charges of attempted first degree murder and reckless endangerment over to the Hamilton County grand jury.
She is charged with shooting her ex-husband at Signal Mountain Chiropractic Clinic a week ago. She took her two daughters, aged 5 and 7 with her, and left them in the parking lot when she went into the clinic, officials said.
During the attack, Dr. Loher sustained a gunshot to his lower left groin area, hitting his femoral artery, according to Hamilton County authorities and an affidavit filed in Hamilton County General Sessions Court.
