Three juveniles were injured early this morning in a drive-by shooting.
Just before 1 a.m., three juvenile males were walking south on 4th Avenue when a white vehicle drove toward them and someone from the vehicle began firing, according to a news release from Sgt. Jerri Weary, public information officer with the Chattanooga Police Department.
She said all three boys were struck in the legs or arms and were transported to Erlanger hospital in fair condition.
Witnesses in the area advised that the suspect vehicle is a white-colored Ford or Dodge but the occupants were not visible. Police are still working to gather leads in the shooting. She said the boy's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
