Beware of sobriety, driver's license checkpoints on Friday

The Tennessee Department of Safety will conduct local sobriety and driver's license checkpoints Friday afternoon and evening, according to a news release from the department.

In Hamilton County, checkpoints will be located at Thrasher Pike in the afternoon and near the Bonny Oaks soccer complex in the evening.

In Sequatchie County, a checkpoint will be located at US 127 and Cates Street in the evening.

In Bradley County, a checkpoint will be located at US Highway 11 North and Old Charleston Road in the evening.

In Grundy County, a checkpoint will be located at Highway 150 and White City in the morning.

In Meigs County, a checkpoint will be located at Highway 58 and Lamontville Road in the evening.
