Chattanooga police have released the name of a fatal single-car crash victim on Tunnel Boulevard.
Jeremy Walton, 40, of Wauchula Street was pronounced dead on the scene. Police delayed his identification to notify family.
Police said Walton lost control of a Jeep Cherokee just before 6 a.m. Saturday on the boulevard, skidded off the roadway and struck a utility pole. The cause of the collision was still under investigation but speed is believed to be a factor.
