The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga got to play in the rain at Scrappy Moore Field this morning as the Mocs went through their 15th practice of the preseason.
Despite the heavy downpour that lasted for much of the workout, coach Russ Huesman said it was a good practice. The defense, which executed poorly and played with little energy on Monday, bounced back with a much better performance, Huesman said.
"I think it was way more spirited, especially on the defensive side of the ball," Huesman said. "I think they competed, they wanted to win every drill we had, so I was pleased with them and I told them after practice that I was pleased."
This is UTC's third and final two-a-day of the preseason and the Mocs are scheduled to practice again at 6:30.
