The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga lost 81-76 to Georgia State in the championship game of the Dr Pepper Classic.
Eric Buckner led all players with 23 points and tournament MVP Dante Curry added 21 points for the Panthers.
Omar Wattad and DeAntre Jefferson led UTC with 19 points each. Ricky Taylor scored 16 points and Keegan Bell added 15.
The Mocs trailed 77-74 with 2:01 to play but shot 0-for-6 from the floor and 2-of-4 from the free throw line in the final two minutes.
