"TWRA has engaged in judge shopping," Special Judge Jon Blackwood said here Thursday after hearing a full day of testimony in a Hamilton County Criminal Court hearing to determine whether a defendant's due process was violated.
He said TWRA's action cast doubt not just on the due process of law afforded a defendant charged by the agency, but also cast "an appearance of impropiety in the judicial integrity of the (Hamilton County General Sessions) court."
"I am suggesting this motion has raise some serious, serious questions about the confidence in the judicial integrity of the court," Judge Blackwood said.
