A weekend visit to the University of Tennessee was enough to give Calhoun High School quarterback Nash Nance and teammate Da'Rick Rogers something to think over. Both players have been committed to other Southeastern Conference programs since last summer, Nance to Vanderbilt and Rogers, who is rated the nation's No. 9 overall prospect, to Georgia.
Both players were accompanied by their parents and the families returned home Sunday still committed to those schools. However their visit, which included meetings with new Vols' coach Derek Dooley, went well enough that each are now weighing their options.
"The boys haven't had any time to reflect on their visit this weekend," Nance's father Mike said via text message. "Right now we don't want to comment except to say that it was a good visit. They will make a statement later this week."
