Lady Mocs cruise past Elon

Three University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's basketball players had double-doubles Saturday at McKenzie Arena as the Lady Mocs dispatched Elon 83-64.

Michelle Davis finished with 20 points and 19 rebounds off the bench; Jenaya Wade-Fray had 21 points and 10 rebounds, and Shanara Holliqnuest added 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Lady Mocs, who have won 11 games in a row and remain in first place in the Southern Conference.

The Lady Mocs were in control of the game throughout, though Elon was able to get the margin below 10 points briefly in the second half.

The win avenges UTC's first-ever loss to Elon, on Dec. 17. The Lady Mocs haven't lost since and have won 14 of their last 15 games.
