CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Police say a Fort Campbell soldier being chased by police crashed into another car and critically injured the driver.
Montgomery County Sheriff's spokesman Ted Denny told WSMV-TV that the woman in the other car was taken in critical condition to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Authorities started following a sports utility vehicle on Wednesday after drivers on Interstate 24 said it was weaving in and out of traffic. Deputies and Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers followed the vehicle until it crashed into another car on Highway 79 North.
