Chattanooga police responded to 3724 Chula Vista Drive around 1 a.m. this morning to find 19-year-old Darnell Bridges suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck, said Lt. Kim Noorbergen of the Chattanooga Police Department.
Mr Bridges was taken to Erlanger where his injury is reported as non life threatening.
Mr. Bridges and others with him said they were on the 4000 block of Brainerd Road near Belvoir Avenue when someone in a white SUV began shooting at them.
