Police are searching for a man who used a stolen credit card number to make hundreds of dollars' worth of purchases at the Shugart Road Walmart.

In late February, the victim, a resident of Fort Myers, Fla., contacted the Dalton Police Department, saying a credit card had been used without his consent at the Walmart, said the police's spokesman Bruce Frazier.

Investigators worked with store staff to find surveillance video of the purchases being made. A male suspect, possibly white or Hispanic with dark hair, was seen using several cards to buy gift cards, Mr. Frazier said.

Authorities believe the suspect may have cloned the victim's credit card, he said.

Police have released both pictures of the suspect and the truck he used when leaving the store, he said.

If you have any information on the identity of this suspect, contact Detective Jason Bishop at 706-278-9085, extension 214.
