The Whitfield County Fire Department responded to a fire at the Poly Star Chemical Co. warehouse Sunday afternoon, a 911 dispatcher said.
After a short time, the fire was extinguished in the back side of the building, located at 207 Brook Hollow Industrial Boulevard. There were no injuries. As of Sunday night, it was undetermined if large quantities of hazardous chemicals leaked out of the building, the dispatcher said.
The Whitfield County Fire Department was still on scene as of Sunday night. No cause has been determined.
