Richt says QB Murray should be fine

Georgia football coach Mark Richt told the Atlanta Touchdown Club today that quarterback Aaron Murray suffered a chest bruise and a bruised bone in his left knee against Auburn but that he should be fine for the Nov. 27 game against Georgia Tech.

The Bulldogs are off this week, and Richt said Murray's status for practice is day-to-day.

ESPN will televise the Georgia-Georgia Tech game at 7:45 p.m., which will mark the first time the contest has been held in Sanford Stadium at night.

In other Georgia news, junior receiver A.J. Green has been named among the 10 semifinalists for the Biletnikoff Award despite missing the first four games this season for violating NCAA rules.
