David Izazola scored the game-winning goal midway through the second half tonight to lead the Mexico Under-20 national team past Colombia 2-1 in an exhibition at Finley Stadium.
Despite the heavy rains that drenched the Chattanooga area for most of the past 24 hours, about 1,500 fans donned their rain gear and showed up to see the friendly, which wasn't always that friendly.
The game got increasingly physical as the first half progressed and Colombia had a player red carded in the 39th minute. Two members of Colombia's coaching staff were ejected shortly after Izazola's goal.
