The sheriff in Murray County, Ga., said two people died Friday night in a plane crash in the southern part of the county.
The small plane crashed around 10:45 p.m. Friday off Center Hill Church Road, near Highway 225.
Murray County Sheriff Howard Ensley said a third victim was flown by Life Force to Erlanger hospital.
A man and a woman who were in the plane were alive after it crashed, according to an eyewitness, but they died before emergency crews arrived.
