Houses have been destroyed in the Flintstone, Ga. area according to Walker County Emergency Services.
Major damages have been reported in Chattanooga Valley, Mission Ridge, Ridgeland Valley and Ridgeland Circle, a 911 dispatcher reported.
No word yet on injuries, but dispatchers said emergency crews were on the scene.
