A woman died after she lost control of her car and drove off the side of Town Creek Bridge in DeKalb County, Ala.
Authorities don't believe the accident was related to the severe weather.
The car of 44-year-old Orline Gentry Lemley was found upside down in the Town Creek earlier today after she was reported missing when she didn't return from work, said Sheriff Jimmy Harris in a news release.
The driver's door was found open, but no one was inside the car, Harris said. After searching the shore in a canoe, Lemley's body was found about 100 yards down the creek, where it was wedged against the bank, he said.
The exact cause of death is still unknown, but authorities believe Lemley lost control of her car as she was driving from work to her home in the Lakeview community, Harris said.
