All Bradley roads open but traffic restricted

CLEVELAND, Tenn. - Authorities say all roads are open in Bradley County, although only one lane is open in some areas.

The damage assessment is about 80 percent complete and should be finished by Saturday, emergency officials said.

The Bradley County Sheriff's Office plans to restrict traffic into heavily damaged areas because of traffic overflow. Cleanup efforts have been hindered because of excessive traffic, including some sightseers, officials said.

There are still 3,995 power customers without electricity, according to Cleveland Utilities officials. It could be a week before the last customer has power restored, officials said.

The Volunteer Electric Cooperative and Cleveland Utilities are using outside crews to help restore power.

The Bradley Bar Association is helping with insurance complaints. Peerless Road Church of God is collecting donations for storm victims. Victims can pick up supplies beginning at 3 a.m.
