DeKalb man arrested for selling meth

A man in DeKalb County, Ala., was arrested in his home and charged with distributing meth, police say.

Danny Lee Jolley, 57, was arrested Wednesday night, said DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris in a news release. Authorities had received complaints about him from neighbors, Harris said.

Jolley was arrested and charged for three counts of unlawful distribution of controlled substances, Harris said. He was taken to DeKalb County jail and will have a bond hearing today.

After a two-month investigation, authorities searched Jolley's home on County Road 342 in Dawson, Ala., and found an undisclosed amount of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and five armed weapons, Harris said.

In a separate case, a deputy stopped a vehicle in the Fyffe area for a traffic violation and found illegal drugs and paraphernalia in the car, Harris said.

The driver, Nathan Nance, 34, was charged with unlawful possession of controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, he said.

Nance was taken to the county jail where he remains without a bond, Harris said.
