The retro look is a big trend in both dresses and dress pants this December. This look is fresh, fun and flattering on most body types. The retro shapes are accompanied with fuchsias, oranges, reds, greens and even lavenders.

However, if you want to really look festive then wear sequins. Silk and sequins are a sure bet to capture anyone's attention. One shoulder, faux wrap and dolman sleeve sequin dresses are the latest rage.

It's fun to be a girl! Allow yourself to feel feminine this season. Step out of your comfort zone and buy something fun this December. This is your time to radiate and shine. Speaking of shining, Rone Regency gave our models some extra glitter. Make sure that you look closely at the jewelry. Kim's Tips on Looking Glam:

PLAN AHEAD

Do you have a work party before a fun social party? If so, wear a little black jacket to give your dress a more conservative look, then take it off for the next event. You always want to behave and look conservative for a holiday work party. There will be plenty of times to show off your curves, but this is not one of them, especially if you want to be CEO of the company someday.

MIX TEXTURES

A little lace top, silk pants and a leather, cropped jacket is not only chic, it's also warm and comfortable. Need extra warmth? Then add a Chann Luu solid cashmere and silk scarf. Wear color Holiday parties are meant to be fun so wear gold, silver, red, fuchsia or green. And yes, you all know the LBD is a classic, especially when you add a diamond pendant.

BRING OUT THE BLING

If you have it, then wear it. And if you don't then take a look at some of these gorgeous pieces in this spread from Rone Regency. Jewelry makes any dress sparkle! Have a plan B for your feet. If you are attending several parties in one weekend, then wear slightly lower heels one of those nights. Black or red kitten heels are always classically stunning. Metallic heels are also a fun way to ring in the New Year.

UPDATE YOUR LOOK

for the night by changing your hairstyle. Notice how Rodney made the models look fresh and different by giving them low side ponytails and faux bobs.

STAY HYDRATED AND HAVE FUN

As I always say, "Your smile is your best accessory!" And yes, you may wear red lipstick this December!
