Whitfield County Schools have named Karey Williams as the next principal at Southeast High School.
Williams has served in the county schools since 1999, serving as principal at Valley Point Elementary and most recently as assistant principal at Northwest High School, according to a school district news release.
Former Southeast Principal Brian Satterfield retired last month. Assistant principal Connie Kopcsak will continue to serve as interim principal until Williams moves into the new position on Jan. 3.
