Three Georgia men charged with kidnapping

Three Georgia men were charged with kidnapping are in the Jackson County, Ala., Jail, police said.

Jose Loeza-Gonzalez, 33, of Norcross, Ga., Juan Juarez-Silva, 38, of Atlanta, and Jose Salgado-Arellano, 38, of Atlanta, were each charged with first-degree kidnapping. Jackson County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Rocky Harnen said they are all being held for possible immigration violations.

On Tuesday, the Jackson County Sheriff's Office and the Bridgeport, Ala., Police Department responded to a call from Big Daddy's on U.S. Highway 72 in Bridgeport. A 32-year-old man told police he had been taken at gunpoint by the three suspects from a restaurant in Atlanta and was held against his will at a Georgia apartment overnight, Harnen said.

The suspects apparently drove the victim to the Big Daddy's. While there, the victim was allowed to go inside and use the bathroom and he asked for help, Harnen said.
