Gail Palmgren funeral services set for Dec. 30

Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 30, for Gail Palmgren, the Signal Mountain woman who disappeared April 30 and whose body was recently was discovered on the side of the mountain.

Services will be held will at St. Peter's Episcopal Church on Ashland Terrace, according to Palmgren's obituary. Visitation will run from 9-11 a.m., followed by an hour-long funeral service officiated by the Rev. Carter Paden and the Rev. Sam Payne.

According to her obituary, her family asks the public to donate to the Lymphoma Leukemia Society of Chattanooga instead of buying flowers.

Palmgren is survived by her husband and two children.
